The Hashim School of Nursing
2024
The Hashim School of Nursing spans approximately 20,000 square feet of built space, making it a modest structure in scale. Inspired by the conventional Education Building form, its design embraces a captivating interplay of bold vertical and horizontal lines. Situated amidst the bustling cityscape of Hyderabad, the building pays homage to its local context by employing red brick, a material intrinsic to the region, predominantly on its main facade.
With a primary objective of honoring and preserving the social fabric, traditions, culture, and climate of the area, the design was meticulously crafted. An Organic Plan was conceptualized, facilitating future expansion and phased development. The building's central axis was strategically designated as circulation spaces, ensuring optimal flow while allowing ample natural light, ventilation, and picturesque views of the outdoor surroundings.
In essence, the Hashim School of Nursing stands as a testament to architectural harmony, seamlessly blending modern functionality with contextual sensitivity to create a nurturing environment for learning and growth.
